20 Days in Alaska
Hunting has been on my mind lately. But more so, Alaska has been on my mind lately. September cannot come soon enough. This September I will be spending 20 days in Alaska. Something I have always dreamed of doing. The first part of my trip will be all fly-fishing for trophy rainbow trout, arctic char, grayling, pike, red (sockeye) salmon, possibly other salmon and lake trout. After I have had my fill of this, I will switch over to bow hunt mode and spend the latter part of the trip camping in the mountains spot-and-stalking moose with my bow. Enough said. I cannot believe I am going to AK in about 1 month to target trophy trout, salmon and char with fly rod AND hunt moose with a bow. This is simply amazing. It’s quite possible I may not come back.
