Max Frommed together with Arno Mathies designed the foldboat for the ‘aquatic’ towns. Born out of a workshop on design and paper, as stout paper-folding evolution of an essential origami, the small boat was in fact conceived above all for urban use. The two designers already prepared an even smaller model that every Londoner could keep, for instance, under his bed and then fold in the boat shape whenever he feels like a boat trip on the canal.
